Back in August 2011, Tony Jones, blogged about how none of the commonly used labels of Christian identity, and in particular evangelical, progressive and  emergent, really quite fitted any more. He asked his readers to help him choose between prophetic-, trinitarian-,  kerygmatic-, open- and incarnational- before settling on the last one.
